Frequently Asked Questions
What type of cargo do you handle?
We handle a broad range of cargo including general goods, industrial equipment, consumer products, raw materials, and project cargo. We also have specialist experience in break bulk and out-of-gauge (OOG) shipments for oversized or heavy-lift cargo. If you have specific requirements, our team will assess the best approach for your goods.
What is the difference between FCL and LCL?
FCL (Full Container Load) means your goods exclusively fill one or more containers – ideal for large volumes and faster transit as the container goes directly to destination.
LCL (Less than Container Load) means your cargo shares container space with other shippers’ goods, making it cost-effective for smaller shipments. We’ll recommend the right option based on your cargo volume, budget, and urgency.
What container sizes are available?
The most common container types are 20GP (20-foot general purpose), 40GP, and 40HC (high cube). For special cargo we can arrange open-top containers, flat rack containers, and refrigerated (reefer) units. Our team will recommend the right container type based on the nature, dimensions, and volume of your cargo.
What surcharges might apply to my shipment?
Beyond the base freight rate, common surcharges in international forwarding include: BAF/CAF (fuel surcharges), PSS (peak season surcharge), THC (terminal handling charges), B/L fee (bill of lading issuance), documentation fee, and customs clearance fees. We always provide a transparent, all-inclusive quote so there are no surprises – and our team will explain each component clearly.
How long is a quotation valid for?
Freight rates are market-driven and can change frequently, especially for sea and air freight. Our quotations are typically valid for 7–14 days from the date of issue. We recommend confirming your booking as early as possible to lock in the quoted rate, particularly during peak seasons (e.g. Q3–Q4 for sea freight).

Don’t let your shipment wait.
